Welcome
Learn what Sprocket Rocket manages and where to start.
Sprocket Rocket is a website system for HubSpot. It combines a managed theme, reusable modules and templates, two editing tools, updates, and recovery tools in one app.
Page Builder and Module Builder are the editing tools. Sprocket Rocket AI works in both: describe a page or a change and it makes it. Read what Sprocket Rocket AI can do.
Let Sprocket Rocket AI build your page for you. Tell it what you need: who the page is for, its content and sections, and the design or behavior you want. It can assemble and refine the page, and arrange custom module work through cards in the same chat. If you are just getting started, the portal connection and installation steps below get you ready to use it.
What you can manage
- Portals and installations: Connect HubSpot portals and install a Sprocket Rocket package with the modules and templates it needs.
- Themes: Set shared colors, typography, buttons, forms, spacing, headers, footers, and other site-wide defaults.
- Modules: Install, update, unlock, clone, and manage reusable page sections. Browse the module library to see what is available.
- Templates: Install and manage website, landing page, blog, system, and subscription templates.
- Page Builder: Do the work you would normally do in HubSpot's page editor, by hand or with Sprocket Rocket AI. See Page Builder.
- Module Builder: Create modules and edit their HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and fields, by hand or with Sprocket Rocket AI. See Module Builder.
- Updates and recovery: Review changes, create backups, update managed files, and roll back when needed.
- Organizations: Manage members, portal access, the Sprocket Rocket AI subscription, licenses, AI usage, and module credits.
App and Marketplace installations
Free, Core, and Stack are available through the HubSpot Marketplace and can be used entirely in HubSpot without the app. Core and Stack can also be purchased directly in the app; PRO is available only through the app.
The app adds installation management, updates, Page Builder, Module Builder, Sprocket Rocket AI, backups, reusable layouts, and the expanded module library for your plan. If you bought Core or Stack in the Marketplace, or your site already runs on a Marketplace theme, start with the Marketplace section. It covers connecting the purchase, what works on a Marketplace theme, and how to get Module Builder without moving pages.
Start with a portal in the app
- Create your Sprocket Rocket account: confirm your email, add your name, and create an organization.
