SR Locations 01 is great as an interactive world map that visitors can hover on sections to view data.

This module is a combination of HubDB, heading, description.

Bounding box configuration

The Map Bounding Box feature is a crucial component for accurately placing location markers on custom map images. It defines the geographical boundaries of your map image by specifying four coordinates that create a rectangular boundary:

  • West Longitude Defines the leftmost edge of the map (-180 to 0 degrees)
  • South Latitude Defines the bottom edge of the map (-90 to 0 degrees)
  • East Longitude Defines the rightmost edge of the map (0 to 180 degrees)
  • North Latitude Defines the top edge of the map (0 to 90 degrees)

These coordinates allow the module to properly scale and position location markers on your custom map image by mapping real-world geographical coordinates to the corresponding positions on your map image. The bounding box essentially creates a reference frame that enables accurate placement of location dots regardless of the map image's visual style or projection.

For example, if your custom map shows only Europe, you would set the bounding box coordinates to encompass just the European continent rather than the entire world. This ensures markers are positioned correctly within that specific region.
