Global site header and footer

Configure the shared navigation and footer used across website pages.

The theme includes two global partials, Global Site Header and Global Site Footer. Each is a drag-and-drop area: modules placed in the header appear at the top of every page that uses it, and modules in the footer appear at the bottom. Changes to a global partial appear on every page that uses it.

Edit their content in HubSpot. In Page Builder, select the header or footer on the canvas and it offers to open HubSpot's global content editor. Hide header and footer in Page Builder hides them in your editor only. See Edit by hand.

Set the logo, navigation, calls to action, legal links, contact details, and social links before building many pages. Test dropdowns, mobile navigation, keyboard focus, and fixed or sticky behavior.

Sprocket Rocket page templates include Enable Global Site Header and Enable Global Site Footer options. They start on in website page templates and off in most landing page templates. Change them for a page in HubSpot when a campaign needs a different shell.

The SR Blog templates add a separate Global Blog Header and Global Blog Footer for blog listing and post pages.

This video walks through editing a module in the Global Site Header or Global Site Footer.
