Change portal access
Assign a different package license to a connected portal.
Portal package access comes from the organization’s licenses. To move a portal to a higher license:
- Open the portal. Current plan in Portal settings shows its license.
- Select Upgrade plan. Only organization owners and admins see it, and it is hidden once the portal is on PRO.
- In Upgrade portal, choose a license. Use assigns an unassigned license the organization already owns; the row shows how many are available. Buy buys a license for this portal, and it is assigned to the portal automatically after payment.
Only higher licenses are offered. Inside an installation, the Upgrade button beside the portal and install switcher opens the same dialog. The Licenses tab in Billing lets you buy licenses and shows how many are still unassigned.
Core and Stack can be purchased directly in the app or through the HubSpot Marketplace. PRO is available only through the app. If you already bought Core or Stack in the Marketplace, opening that connected portal automatically assigns the matching license without another purchase. Changing access does not automatically replace installed files. Review available package updates and newly unlocked modules after the license changes.
